What Learning Looks Like
Daily Routine
8:30-9:00 Drop Off (Students are given time to come in and explore. Stations are set up that are high-interest, stem, art, or nature based.
9:00 Morning Meeting (Socratic Questioning, Building Community, and Read Aloud)
9:20-11:00 Work Session (Each child is given a list of MUST do tasks each day that are aligned to their personalized goals that have been set for them for the year). During this time you'll find students talking, creating, collaborating, and working independently. You'll find the classroom coach working alongside individual students and documenting student learning.
11:00-12:30 Lunch time is an open window of time and students can choose when they would like to stop their work session to take time to eat. It is a time of chattering, laughter, and community building. You'll also see the class coach read aloud during this time.
12:30-1:30 Free Play and Outside Time
1:30-2:45 Work Session, Service Learning Projects, and Personal Projects
2:45-3:00 Afternoon Meeting- Daily Discoveries, Questions, and Read Aloud
